Agenda 2030: Planet

This week we'll be looking at the second tenet> Planet.

The bullet point for this week is,
“Planet: To protect the planet from degradation.”

We can talk about it a bit here, so let’s dig right into it.
When we think of our planet under the perspective of this tenet and how many elites view our Planet. We can’t help but not think of the big topic here, “Global warming.”
I’m not a proponent of said Global warming, but you can’t deny the weather is not like it was when we were kids, right?!
So we at least have that part down.
Over the years, there’s been a lot of discussion about the polar ice caps, polar bears, icebergs melting, temperatures rising in very uncharacteristic manners, and other topics related to our planet’s overall climate.
But is it a result of the planet warming up by itself? As in global warming? Or is it something different?

Well, according to the IPCC (The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change)

“The Earth receives its warmth from the sun, so it's reasonable to suspect that our home star may be one of the reasons for global warming. Although the amount of energy coming from the sun does vary and may have been responsible for warming in the past, however, NASA and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) have ruled this out as a cause of the current warming trend.” they had this to say instead:
“The average energy coming from the sun generally has remained constant since 1750, and the warming does not occur uniformly throughout the atmosphere. The upper layer is actually cooling as the bottom layer becomes warmer.”
So what is the cause of our uncharacteristic weather patterns in the last many years?
Well, another possible cause may be this: Industrial Activity.
Some factors to consider here are that “Since the Industrial Revolution, humans have been burning fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum for energy, which releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.” With that in mind, it should also be pointed out that “a quarter of this is for heat and electricity, while another quarter is for other industrial processes and transportation.” that includes vehicles that burn fossil fuels, agriculture, and other such processes like the production of cement.
Another noteworthy mention from that paragraph is accounting for the fact that
”These processes also release other greenhouse gases, such as methane and CFCs, although the concentration of CFCs has declined since their use was banned in 1988.”

and for those like me who weren’t aware of what CFCs were, this is the technical term for them. “Chlorofluorocarbons,” I know, right? Say that word 2x fast!
They are defined as “gases used for various purposes including solvents, refrigerants, and aerosol sprays. They are organic chemicals and contain carbon, (sometimes hydrogen,) chlorine, and fluorine.” CFCs definition

Now that we’ve heard from the scientific community and what they believe is going on, let’s look at what some Christians believe is a possible cause.
One such writer for Christianity.com uses this biblical reference. Initially, they only used v. 7; however, to get a good point of reference, we must look further into the verse on both sides. And what we have is this.

2 Peter 3: 3-10
”3 Above all, you must understand that in the last days, scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." 5 But they deliberately forget that long ago, by God's word, the heavens came into being, and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6 By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7 By the same word, the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.[1]”

From the Christian Perspective based on this particular writer, it would seem we’re looking at it from an “eschatological” viewpoint. It’s also helpful to understand that numerically speaking, it’s only been a couple of days since the lord has been absent from the planet. Even though on earth, it’s been over nearly 2000 years since his death and crucifixion! So rejoice and know the lord will return in his appointed time!
Yes, the Planet is headed for destruction; according to this writer, that’s “God’s ultimate plan for the planet at large.” But if anyone has studied the bible, we know for a fact there’s much more to it than just the “doom and gloom” destruction p.o.v.
Yes, this planet will one day be destroyed! But it will also be remade! And it’ll be transformed into how God originally intended it to be!
We see that evidenced here in Rev. 21:1-3
”A New Heaven and a New Earth
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4.”
So you see, things aren’t as bad as some talking heads perpetrate them to be in society. Let us remember that our time here is but a vapor. Our true life, our actual existence! Begins the day we step into eternity! Unfortunately for some, that’s not an eternity of rest… it’s an eternity of eternal damnation. Friends believe this day. You will stand before our creator and be judged based on specific criteria. Don’t be one of the damned!
However, I digress.

When discussing these topics, we must make a significant differentiation.
The difference between “climate change” and “global warming.”
NASA describes climate change as “encompasses global warming but refers to the broader range of changes that are happening to our planet, including rising sea levels; shrinking mountain glaciers; accelerating ice melt in Greenland, Antarctica and the Arctic; and shifts in flower/plant blooming times.”

Whereas ”NASA describes global warming as “the long-term heating of the Earth’s climate system observed since the pre-industrial period (between 1850 and 1900) due to human activities, primarily fossil fuel burning, which increases heat-trapping greenhouse gas levels in the Earth’s atmosphere.”

Looking at these two definitions side by side. It’s hard not to conclude that the problem The UN sees within their sustainability goals is *us!* The living, breathing people of this here planet. We’re sucking up all their air, “destroying their ozone” with our gas guzzlers and other means of polluting the ozone. But is that really what’s going on here? Or do they want the perfect “utopia?” which is realistically unattainable.
It should be no surprise that these people pulling the strings and making things happen do not have your best interest at heart, nor will they ever…
Once you get past that, it’s a bit easier to digest.

Speaking of the people who don’t have others’ best interests at heart! Let’s look at Greta Thunberg’s unfortunate role in all these geo-political discussions. She’s been hailed as a person of interest with such “vigor” and “enthusiasm.” But it would appear she was just a pawn for the elite!
Let’s look at a few articles and resources that speak to a different tune than her so-called persona as a “voice” speaking boldly against world leaders and the like.

Lastly, we see the truth of Greta Thunberg! Just a frightened girl with Asperger’s and quite severe depression. Used and manipulated to do the elites, like Klaus Schwab bidding!

Friends, In closing.
Remember, no man is better than the next! The planet we know will indeed one day cease to exist! And on that day, we’ll be connected with our creator!
But take heart in this. For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
