Agenda 2030: Peace!
For when they say, “Peace and safety!” Then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
What can be said about this topic? Well, this one will likely lean more on the Christian rather than the political side. Don’t get me wrong; there will be a fair share of politicking. But this one is ripe with biblical possibilities, discussion-wise.
So a little preliminary background here.
What is the quote in the subtext from? It’s a reference to a chapter and verse in the bible. Specifically, “1 Thessalonians 5:3.”
And here, we have it expounded upon to understand the context of the reference further.
”The Day of the Lord
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you. 2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore, let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be [a]sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.”
For those of us that are “awake and sober.” We understand the times we live in; we know that Jesus could come back any minute, at any point in the day. But taking it a step further, we also understand that specific parameters must be met for Jesus to return. Otherwise, we’re like the ocean’s tides, thrown back and forth with every whim and “new revelation” concerning Christ’s return. Don’t be that person! You’ll become discouraged very quickly and lose your Passion for Christ and all that makes you strive for him.
Instead, the best approach to the situation. is just as Christ puts it in his word.
Matt. 24:3-8
“The disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for [a]all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, [b]pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.”
Now that we have that underway, we can move on to the actual meat of this piece.
Let’s look at a monumental achievement regarding “Peace” in the last twenty-five years.
That being ”The Abraham accord.” President Trump signs the Abraham accord.
What is the Abraham accord, though?
Let’s first look at an excerpt from the *Abraham accords declaration.*
“We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East and around the world based on mutual understanding and coexistence, as well as respect for human dignity and freedom, including religious freedom.
We encourage efforts to promote interfaith and intercultural dialogue to advance a culture of peace among the three Abrahamic religions and all humanity.”

“We, the undersigned, recognize the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace in the Middle East….” Let’s pick at that thread, Peace in the middle east? Something that we’ve always been told in global politics would never happen in a million years.
How did the initial steps to normalizing the relations with the U.S and middle eastern territories occur? We have to look at the previous POTUS administration to find that answer.
A key component of said normalization lies within President trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.
A lot can be said about Kushner, but there’s also a good bit we don’t know about him. He just got springboarded onto the scene by proxy; his wife is trump’s daughter. Now that’s not to say Kushner doesn’t have the chops for it! Because he does, He certainly does. But that’s to say it might not have become evident, or he may not have had the opportunity to show what he can do, had he not been married to Trump’s daughter… that part is pure speculation, naturally. But you get the idea. Anyhow, Kushner - Abraham accords.
Here’s a relatively short clip from a Kushner Interview.»
Upon doing some more research on Jared Kushner, we find that within the last year or so, he founded the “Abraham accords institute.”
According to the article, these are the details regarding the institute:
Details: The non-partisan, non-profit organization will have a five-year mandate and be funded through private donations.
According to a statement, it will focus on increasing trade and tourism between the five signatory countries — Israel, Bahrain, the UAE, Morocco, and Sudan — and developing programs to foster people-to-people connections between the countries.
It will also "provide analysis of the benefits of normalization and the potential benefits additional Arab countries can receive if they join the Abraham Accords."

Now, let’s look at the Abraham accords from a biblical point of view.
First, we see that “On September 15, 2020, representatives from Israel, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain met in Washington, DC on the White House lawn. There they signed the Abraham Accords.”
Next, we look at this Biblically documented prophesy that we as believers are ‘eagerly’ awaiting, found in the book of Daniel.
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (New Century Version renders this seven years): and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:27)”
But let’s get to the question everyone seems to have concerning this peace deal!
Is it the prophesied peace treaty to usher in the final seven years on earth?!
Well, it certainly has a lot of the ear markings of a candidate. However, there are many characteristics, and we must ask ourselves the following questions to answer that loaded gun honestly.
"The completion of the Abraham Accords must contain five specific elements:
1) The Palestinians must be included in the peace agreement.
2) A Palestinian homeland must be established in Judea (the West Bank).
3) Jews living in Judea will be allowed to remain there, living in the midst of the Palestinians.
4) The Temple Mount will be placed under a sharing arrangement so that all religions can worship there.
5) Jerusalem will remain undivided under Israeli control.
Once the Palestinians become part of the peace agreement containing the above five provisions, the Final Seven Years to Armageddon will begin."

We would do ourselves a great disservice with all the above topics and concerns discussed if we neglect our sense of reason, much less our ability to follow things to their logical conclusions. So look at the world, look at the biblical references, if you must decide for yourselves. Which side of eternity do you want to be on?
Because friends, we will all sit before the lord and give an account for our lives and what we did with them! And resting in your morals and values to save you is a faulty and mistaken endeavor. Not a soul on earth compared to Christ’s view of what it takes to be a “good person” will succeed in filling those shoes.
Do yourselves a favor and trust the one true God, Jesus!
